The county-level city of Ludwigshafen is located on the left bank of the Rhine to the Baden-Württemberg sister city of Mannheim, in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The Imperial and Mariendom in the Catholic Church of St. Pankratius in Schwetzingen, Speyer and the Castle are also popular attractions in the region around Ludwigshafen.
