The Palace is now the site of the Medical Academy and has a beautiful baroque garden. The importance of history and art in Bialystock is reflected in several museums, art galleries, exhibitions and festivals or concerts. In the town of bekannte--known jazz has become eine-in Poland scene.
A few kilometres outside of the sprawling national park Bialowieza begins. He is one of the world natural heritage of mankind and is easily reached with a car.
