Chihuahua is a town in Northern Mexico in the middle of the desert. It is also Hauptsdat of the State of the same name. Although founded in the city like many cities in Central and South America in its current form and location of the Spanish colonizers in the 16th to 19th century, the name comes from the Nahuatl, an Indian language. Located in the State of Chihuahua is the wildly romantic beautiful Barranca del cobre (German: Copper Canyon), which received its name because of the seeming kupferrot in sunlight rock formations. It is easily reached with a car rented on the spot of Chihuahua from and curious tourists take the breath with their partially up to 1,800 meters deep ravines. In recent years, also extreme hiking and white water enthusiasts have discovered this area as the ideal.
